Unable to connect to Internet during startup..

We installed the demo version of the software on Windows Vista for activation.
The computer is on a LAN, behind a Proxy Server  (Postmaster) which requires UserID, Password.
 
When we start the software it shows the error1.jpg
 
But in the 'Connection properties' tab, we have the correct Proxy and user credentials
and 'Test connection'  button checks the internet connection OK - refer error2.jpg
After test connection, it asks to restart the application, but again on restart it gives error1.jpg !!
After three retries, it does not start and we have to reboot the system and same
cycle repeat !!
 
Please advise.

Let me know any update.
If the software does not work, I would have to ask for refund.  
But I only have 7 days to refund !!
 
let me know if you have a solution, I will wait, otherwise if you think it is not going to work,
please process the refund.

1. You will definitely have the right for a refund if we are unable to solve the problem even over the 7 days period. But I'm sure it won't be needed.
 
2. What is the type of Proxy you use? HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS5?

Client is using PoastMaster proxy server, which supports all three proxy servers.
On the client side, from the browser, it is set for HTTP.
 
Please note proxy is running at port 8080
And on clicking 'Test connection', the software tests the connection OK !!
